About this listen
Most people hate negotiating. Instead of learning it themselves, they hire someone - an agent, a lawyer, a manager - to negotiate for them. But negotiators often do not have their clients' best interests at heart. In this short audiobook, international bestselling writer Kristine Kathryn Rusch shows you how to negotiate anything from buying a car to buying a house, from handling a book contract to handling a negotiator. If you have ever negotiated anything - and who hasn't? - then this book is for you.

Should be called "why to negotiate anything"
I bought this audiobook hoping to learn about the how-tos, dos, and do nots of negotiating. Instead the book was mostly about WHY to negotiate, and having reached the mid point of chapter five without any practical advice, I gave up and didn't continue further.
There were lots of anecdotes and personal experiences, but not much in the way of practical advice. I've encountered some excellent books by the author previously, so this one was a bit of a disappointment.
If you need convincing about whether you should negotiate, this book is for you. If you're already past that point, then probably not.
