Summary
Everything can change in a heartbeat.Hunter Roswell thought she had left her past behind. But her carefully structured world starts to fall apart when a serial killer connected to her past emerges from the shadows and begins stalking her. Already responsible for the deaths of five women, the killer now has Hunter firmly in his sights. And he’s picked a target date - the night of October’s full moon - also known as the blood moon or hunter’s moon.
Sara Wilder, a psychologist and former FBI profiler, is brought in to help Hunter unravel the connection between her past and a ruthless killer. But as the search for the killer intensifies, both women find themselves struggling with an unexpected and undeniably mutual attraction. In a race against time, can they survive a killer who is willing to use anything - even love - to further his own agenda?

Better than I thought it would be
I found overall this audio book was much better than I was expecting. And an admirable job was done by the narrator.

A difficult read
This book starts well and just has one convinced that it is going to be a really good mystery...Then the author seems to go off in a different direction altogether...I have tried to listen to it and stay interested four times now...but instead of keeping the love interest as a side issue, the plot itself seems to become secondary! I feel the author has an agenda here (To normalise lesbianism) I just wanted a mystery story and I confess descriptions of woman being sexually aroused by each other...just leaves me bored, it all sounds so contrived and unreal too. As ofcourse, now I have been forced to consider it, it must be!

Dreadful!
From a promising start, I have abandoned this book having suffered hours and hours waiting for the story to unfold. In the end I have determined that it is not a thriller at all, but a vehicle for a load of lesbians with men's names (Hunter, Adrian, Connor) to explore their relationships! Do readers (listeners) really need to know about putting the bread in a toaster? Oh dear - what a disappointment. Don't know who A.J Quinn is but I bet she's a lesbian with little else on her mind......
