Summary
In the fourth installment of the Coach's Boys series, Detective Ed Winslow's stalker steps up the game - and everyone is a target now.
Her secret could change lives forever.
When Hannah Fletcher discovered that her whole life was a lie, she ran as far and as fast as she could - to a place she'd long forgotten about. And now that she's found a way to get close to the right people, can she keep her real identity a secret as she works to accomplish one very important goal?
He's spent his entire life on the outside looking in.
Jon Rambo lived by three simple rules: work hard, don't get involved in other people's problems, and never get too close to anyone. His job, and a small circle of friends, had always been more than enough for him. But when a woman he believes is up to no good needs help, he steps in to offer his assistance, even though it means deceiving everyone he knows.

friendship to love without intending it
I have heard several books in the series and have enjoyed them. Each story is stand-alone but , like the pieces of a jigsaw, they all fit together to form a larger picture. It isn't just that the reader gets to visit with the various characters again. Kristy K . James has a plot thread that weaves through the whole series, which adds an element of suspense to the stories. This element of suspense actually gets more twisted in this book.
I really liked Jon from the previous books. He is a little quiet but always has his friends' backs which is how he relationship with Hannah changes from a work relationship to a fake dating relationship. And the fun begins.
I look forward to reading /hearing the remaining books in the series. I love the sense of family and community in these stories. i am also curious about the rest of the puzzle and would like to see the suspenseful elements sorted to a hopefully satisfactory conclusion.
