Summary

Story takes place in the Omegaverse. Hobson Hills Omegas, Book 4.

Dean Wagner hasn't had an easy life. He was raped and forced to give up his newborn when he was eighteen, then pushed into a marriage with a horrible alpha. Fortunately, he left all that behind when his abusive husband died and Dean was reunited with his eldest son. The silver lining of his life has always been his children - his beautiful omega sons. Now that he and his family are safe and happy in Hobson Hills, can Dean finally dream of more?

Raymond Potts is a 34-year-old beta. He is a beta completely, irrevocably in love with an omega. He has been Dean's friend and confidant for months now, but Ray is afraid to take the next step. Can a beta and an omega work? Is Dean even ready for a relationship after all he has been through? Ray can't decide and he doesn't want to lose his friend and the adorable children he has come to love. The two men work to build a lasting relationship despite age differences and societal expectations. However, Michael Cook is still out there, and his attention just focused on the omega he hurt so many years ago.

Author's Note: This is a M/M, non-shifter, MPREG love story with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. The MCs are an omega and a beta with an age difference. There are a few potty mouths, so beware. 18+ readers only, please. It is the fourth book in the series and should be listened to after Romancing the Omega.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Oh, my! What a story!

Oh, my what a heartbreaking story!

I'm glad we got to learn more about poor Yeo's omega father. Dean's has been broken and is finally free. He just wants to move on and build a new life for himself and his son's. He never really thought he could dream for more but his connection to the young beta, Ray can't be ignored.

I loved the quick progress of this story and how all the characters band together to help Dean and Ray and show them that they belong together, no matter what. I loved their connection and Ray is such a wonderful character and his love and care for Dean is just heart-melting!! I really enjoyed this story and the twists and turns that take place both happy, scary and dangerous. I'm so glad Dean and Ray got their happy ending and defied the odds to expand their family!!! I loved this one!!!

Thanks for reading!

Dean and Ray’s story

After having had a very difficult life Dean has come to Hobson Hills to be near his son Yeo. Here he mets Ray, a beta. There is mentioning of past abuse and rape and it is a rough story to listen to at times. But it is also a very warm and loving story and as a reader you become very invested in Dean and Ray’s happiness.
This is one of the best book in the Hobson Hills series and I highly recommend it. Read the 3 previous books first or you will lose a lot of context.
