Summary
A savage demon clan. A godborn warrior. An oath to save his clan.
It is 3000 BC. A hundred clans have been destroyed and thousands of people are dead. The Wolf God commands an inexperienced young warrior to hunt down the bloodthirsty demon horde. With a handful of his faithful spear-brothers and a heartbroken young seeress at his side, his quest will take him on a perilous journey through devastated lands.
He may be the son of a god and a mortal woman, but he will need more than just his great strength to overcome the dark forces that stand in his way. To save his people he must throw aside his self-doubt and his fear and become what he was meant to be.
For he is godborn. And his undying glory will change the world.
Godborn is a thrilling historical fantasy series spanning the Third Millennium BC, a time when mighty gods and brutal demons still walked the earth. One immortal demigod must battle evil from the megaliths of Stonehenge and the labyrinths of the Minoans to the city states of Mesopotamia and the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt and beyond. It is the Heracles myth as you have never heard it before.

If your on the fence about purchasing, hop over!
I thought a "YouTubers" book will probably be mediocre. now I'm sad there's only one more to listen to. keep it up!

Bernard Cornwell of Prehistorical fiction
Very interesting mix of Indo-European myths and Neolithic archeology interwoven into gripping story with some great characters. I think I expected more details about Yamnaya, Tripolie and other cultures of that region insterted into the narrative but it reads as good as Bernard Cornwell and gets as entertaining as Conan The Barbarian.

Fantastic historical/mythological Epic
Mythology, history and fantasy blend together in a time-period rarely explored and its truely a great novel. it also explores the mind set of people at the time while reflecting modern ideas the reader can identify with. Additionally it is the kind of sword and sorcery novel I wish we had more off, combat and characters are detailed but well thought out and can be followed easily.

Really good world building.
Absolutely loved the world building in this one, while the characters were a little stale. over all, I really liked it, and it scratched that history nerd spot in my brain real well

Throughly Enjoyed.
As stated I throughly enjoyed this book. I am currently reading the prequel Novel which the author has very kind provided for free via his website (at the time of me writing this at least).
I have not read/listened to any of his previous titles but came across his Godborn series via the will of the gods or youtube's algorithm! Either way I am thankful as this book and the accompanying Youtube videos have come along at a time when my current interests are engaged very much in prehistories and ancient myths.
Without giving to much away the book deals with a possible root myth/story for later more established and recognisable heros and tales. So if you're familiar withbthese you can see where the story is heading and can guess what might happen next, though I did not find this removed my enjoyment from the narrative. Which, I found to be engaging and well written. I look forward to the Audio release of the next book in the series.
