Summary

Every betrayal begins with trust...

A lot has happened since the brutal attack that transformed Sasha Keleterina into one of the undead. She’s left Arsen and the Draugur vampires behind, but dealing with Niko and his advances almost sends her crawling back. Though Arsen continues to beg for her forgiveness, she’s still too raw from his betrayal to be near him.

When Jackson learns the truth about Sasha’s attack, Sasha is once again conflicted about where her loyalties lie and who her true friends are. The clock is ticking, and with an all-out war on the horizon, Sasha desperately fights to find a cure to save not just the vampires...but herself.

Who knew being a vampire would be so tough?

Brilliant

I love this book . The plot and characters are brilliant. The book ends on a cliffhanger which is edge of your seat exciting. I can't wait for the next audio book in the series.
The choice of narrator is perfect. An all round great adaptation.

Wild Ride

OMG that was a wild ride! Girl Forsaken is the follow up to Girl Bitten and part 2 of the Girl Vampire Trilogy by DD Miers and Graceley Knox. This picks up from where Girl Bitten left us. After finding out Arsen had been using Sacha, she fled to Niko and is now working in his lab on his compound and desperately trying to find the cure for the virus killing the vampire race. She is on her own though as not only has she been betrayed by Arsen she is faced with betrayals from all sides. Niko her maker and what’s worse also her childhood friend Jackson. Can she trust anyone? She is doing her best to hold onto her humanity whilst trying finding a cure but the odds are stacked against her. Not only that she finds she herself has been infected by a deadly parasite and is on borrowed time. The clock is ticking and so were my stress levels lol.

This was a rollercoaster with so many twists and turns I honestly couldn’t put it down. I find listening to this has been amazing as Stella Hunter the narrator really brought the extremely well written Sacha to life. She is everything you want in a female lead, she is strong, fierce, independent, sassy, relentless, and someone that won’t stand for any crap any of these alpha men will throw at her.

I warn you this one ends in a huge cliff-hanger but it leaves you desperate for more. I will find it difficult waiting for the 3rd instalment to be added to audible as I know the final book Girl Immortal is available on Kindle Unlimited but I know it will be worth the wait.

TOP MARKS!! Amazing storytelling all round!! 5/5
