Summary

Awesome!
Great narration! I loved being able to finish Gemina while doing other things and not have to wait to physically read the next bit if i was busy/commuting. Cant wait for Obsidio

Loved it!
Last year Illuminae made it into my top 10 books that I read in 2016 so I couldn't wait to read this one and I have to say that it didn't disappoint! The new characters we're introduced to are just as interesting as the ones we meet in Illuminae so I was rooting for them more or less straight away. The story, like its predecessor was a roller-coaster ride that put me through every single conceivable emotion in the best way possible and made the 663 pages fly by and the full cast audio made the experience completely emersive.

My absolute favourite series of audiobooks!
If you could sum up Gemina in three words, what would they be?
Engaging, exciting, emotional.
What other book might you compare Gemina to, and why?
Not like anything else I've read/heard.
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
An amazing full cast & fab special effects. Too many great performances to pick one. I love that all the characters continue across the different books in the series. Love the range of accents and personalities.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I commute 2.5 hours a day in the car and couldn't wait for the journeys to and from work so that I could get the next instalment!

I can HIGHLY recommend this series.

Censorship of swearing deeply annoying!
Very good performance and great story. Sound quality adequate. Censorship of swearing extremely annoying. This should either be optional or an age rating given. It is like audio interference but totally unacceptable. Get your act together audiobooks. FFS!

Fantastic
Such an incredible immersive production. The sound effects throughout made it possible to visualise the story as it unfolded. As always these books kept me on the edge of my seat. love them

Much better than the first book
I don’t agree with a lot of the breaking the mould stuff about these novels but they are fun. Lots of ideas from other novels and films all rolled into one.
This was great fun though and the lead characters were great. Really enloyed them. Right, book 3!
