Summary
Man-eating crocodiles have invaded the Everglades.
A generation of dangerous hybrids has grown to maturity, and people are being killed.
In a desperate effort to save lives, Ranger Daniel Reid has partnered with Gator Glades reptile park to trap and remove the invasive hybrids. But crocs breed in high numbers, and park director Jen Summers predicts an ecological disaster.
But there are more sinister creatures out on the swamp than crocodiles.
Abigail O'Neil has returned home, just ahead of a past come back to haunt her.
A man named Colin Mason is coming to settle a score, and he is privy to the darkest secrets of Abigail's life—her crocodile-infested home has now been invaded by a monster more cold-blooded than any reptile.
And after a lifetime on the swamp, Abigail has finally found something deadlier than her.

Gator Glades
In classic creature feature fashion, the Everglades have been flooded and overtaken by man-eating hybrid crocodiles. But just as deadly are some of the human inhabitants. The Everglades quite literally is a place where people go missing, you can get away with rape & murder and none the wiser. Shady people are everywhere and loyalties run deep enough for people to look the other way and to keep tight lipped. So much sinister happenings go on here that silence simply is a survival tactic for some people. However, this all changes when evidence is discovered about our local 'friendly' serial killer. What transpires next is a cat and mouse game played with crocodiles, to kill or be killed.
This is an action packed story full of sinister characters who stop at nothing to get what they want. Women get a raw deal in this book as pretty much all the women get brutalised and/or physically & mentally abused in some way. The serial killer is barely mentioned, and I wish his story was fleshed out a bit more so we could learn more of what happened to his daughter, and why she developed the character traits she has. Overall a decent story, but I wasn't a fan of the female abuse. The narrator did a great job here.
I was given this book for free of my own choosing and I voluntarily left this review.

Glades
Loved the narration of James Daniel Burkdoll, he brings out the scare
This book is full of shocks and surprises. We have crocodiles, alligators , pythons, black mambas, and other reptiles! I don't know who was more scary the humans or the animals. You are left wondering who was going to survive
