Summary

Fifth Book in the New York Times Best-selling Series.

"We'd won. We'd cut through the lies and treachery and promised an alliance that would free us both. But even as we won, we lost. We didn't see what was coming. We didn't know we had to plan a resurrection."

Nila Weaver fell in love. She gifted her entire soul to a man she believed was worthy. And in the process, she destroyed herself. Three debts paid, the fourth only days away. The Debt Inheritance has almost claimed another victim.

Jethro Hawk fell in love. He let down his walls to a woman he believed was his cure. For a moment, he was free. But then he paid the ultimate price.

There is no more love. Only war. Hope is dead. Now, there is only death all around them.

Only suitable for dark romance lovers.

Full length book. Six in series. Fourth Debt is 85,000 words.

Seriously warped 🙈🙈

Book five and what a book it is. It's one that you won't be able to put down whatsoever.

In my review of book four, I had stated that I couldn't really see as to how it could get much worse for Nila. Well other than the beheading at the very end of the book six that is, with the final debt.

"Oh,and just how very wrong was I??" I hear you ask.....

It would seem, I was extremely wrong on that fact.

Not only is Nila now dealing with the loss of her soul-mate and his brother, but now she has to deal with a so much worse!! Not only the insanity that is Cut and Daniel, but now she also has to deal with Bonnie. And trust me, it seems crazy came from her.

I can't actually say much more as it would seriously ruin your finding out the atrocities, the aforementioned three out her through.

Along with her grief is her concern for V and the feeling of betrayal from Jasmine. Just what is she to do, when she no longer wishes to continue on, when they're doing everything to break her mind, body, and soul?!?!

What is the point anymore??

Then they start the fourth debt repayment, all while reminding her, that she still has the third debt to complete.

Seriously how can any one person expect to survive, now that she is left in the hands of Cut and Daniel??

Who is going to save her now??

More importantly, just how long does she have to live, before the final debt becomes due??

The answers are all in the book and audio too.

We've got Kylie C Stewart and Will M Watt again narrating. Yet again, in this book they have done an exemplary job of it.

You can almost feel and taste the horror and pain Nila is going through. A far cry from the first audio, where it really wasn't particularly good at all. But as the books became so much more as they went along, so did the performance of these two.

Five days ago I stated that they were two of my least favourite narrators, now however, I will gladly eat humble pie, as they are two of my favourite narrators.

They give so much into the performance of the books. They don't just say that she says something in a panicking voice, but they actually do it in one. It's almost like you've got a film on, but with your eyes closed!!

So when it comes to recommending I say abso-bloody-lutely to both 😉😉
