Summary

IRREVERENT AND PROVOCATIVE LOVE STORY...

Haunted by thousands of years of demon slaying to protect women from fallen angels (demons), Perseus regrets his decision to forgo afterlife with his beloved wife, Andromeda, when he is offered immortality by his father, the god Zeus. As he says, Hero stuff is hard to give up. Living in present day Philadelphia as billionaire philanthropist, David Danos, he walks in the shadows, hides from police, and tries to avoid Azriel, the Angel of Death, who wants to kill him for slaying all those angels. When, seemingly by fate or chance, Claire Zebriski runs into him with her pickup truck, his life changes. He's instantly smitten by her tumble of black hair and cerulean blue eyes. When she offers him a job on her ranch, he must accept to learn more about this extraordinary woman.

The story line is as well done as the characters, occasionally flashing back to ancient Greece, then returning with ease to the present-day dilemmas. The plot moves swiftly and catches the reader in its flow from the very beginning. The author has an effortless, comfortable writing style that makes for enjoyable reading. I completely savored this read and highly recommend it to fans of PNR, suspense, thrillers, or those who just enjoy a good story that happens to have supernatural beings. Readers will find some explicit material, as adult situations and language come into play occasionally. Neither is overdone in my opinion and fits the narrative. — Reedsy Discovery Five Star Review

loved

I loved the narration of Jason Markiewitz, I could hear the characters and the plot all coming to life.

We have murder and mayhem , Demi God and Angels. Action, suspense, love interest, plot twists that I never saw, Oh yes brilliant humour from all the characters. I want to say more, but keep finding myself giving spoilers.

Wow

This one has still got me shaking my head at how amazing this was. The flashbacks were such a strong addition to the story, it gave it such a strong realistic feel and it connected me to the characters so much more. There is so much happening and it is a real credit to how amazing Peters writing is as it never feels rushed or crammed the story just flows and the pacing then sucks you in. It felt like I had just started it and the book was almost finished.

Fantastic narration and writing. This is not one to be missed.
