A Review of First Dawn.
First Dawn is a horror about an evolving war between humanity and The Changed, mindless monsters who attack and kill the living.
It has a lot going for it. The plot is its driving factor, the narrator was calm and performed each character well and the characters themselves were all different and well written.
Structurally it wouldn’t look out of place in a Big Finish Doctor Who audiobook, and the horror comes from never knowing who will turn or die next, so it gives a nod to The Walking Dead or other books with zombies.
You should look up the authors’ other books, specifically Blue, a more dystopian thriller. The authors are clearly multifaceted with different stories.
Yeah, it was great. Go buy it.
