Summary
An Amazon Charts best seller
A bone-chilling family history is unearthed in a heart-stopping thriller by New York Times best-selling author Anne Frasier.
Convicted serial killer Benjamin Fisher has finally offered to lead San Bernardino detective Daniel Ellis to the isolated graves of his victims. One catch: He'll only do it if FBI profiler Reni Fisher, his estranged daughter, accompanies them. As hard as it is to exhume her traumatic childhood, Reni can’t say no. She still feels complicit in her father’s crimes.
Perfect to play a lost little girl, Reni was the bait to lure unsuspecting women to their deaths. It's time for closure. For her. For the families. And for Daniel. He shares Reni's obsession with the past. Ever since he was a boy, he's been convinced that his mother was one of Fisher's victims.
Thirty years of bad memories are flooding back. A master manipulator has gained their trust. For Reni and Daniel, this isn't the end of a nightmare. It's only the beginning.

Absorbing
Fascinating insight into psychopathic behaviour, also the deadly effect of lack of empathy. Well researched, clever narrative ,throughly well worked

A serial killers daughter story
I love how the desert is described, it’s almost a character in its own right and needs to given a lot of respect when going into it.
I love this authors style. There’s lots going on, the characters are superbly crafted and the pace stays great throughout. Not all of the threads are tied up the story arc covers the series, but I definitely want to read more!
For some illogical reason the series name I found off putting

Fine by Me 🙂
Anne Frasier has an immense talent for portraying adults from dysfunctional childhoods without the melodramatic clichés that authors usually rely on. The family relationships between psychopaths or narcissists and their children is so complex and individual with such subtle emotional differences, I've never read another authors work who've got it so spot on.
Although I like these characters, Id love her to write from a serial killers perspective, a la Dexter! I think the realism she could bring to a character who most would view as a Monster would be revolutionary!
