Summary

Falon Whyte books a cruise for her girlfriend of two years. What she hopes will be a fun vacation quickly turns out to be a nightmare. Falon is normally a woman who can roll with the punches, but life delivers a series of blows that knock her on her butt and leave her stranded in Honduras with the company of an uptight woman she doesn't like.

Haley Hollis isn't having a good time, either. She spends two nights on the top deck of the ship after being locked out by her sexually adventurous cabin mate. Desperate to do something fun, she accepts an invitation from a new friend to join him on a zip line excursion. She only thinks the trip down the side of a mountain on a wire is the most terrifying thing she'll ever experience.

What Falon and Haley think is a disaster turns into a magical adventure in Robin Alexander's latest romantic comedy, Fearless.

Contains mature themes.

Too much humour

I love a good laugh, but honestly that's two books of Robins now where I thought there was just too much humour and ridiculousness. Mix up humour with some seriousness, a bit more intimacy. But that's just my opinion

hilarious

Best type of romcom, working through the mcs issues, developing a warm romance, excellent support characters, Robins' writing is entertaining and thoughtful from start to finish, I havnt laughed as hard in a long time, but the icing on the cake is Lori Prince and her spectacular narration,
a wonderful combination

Plethora of great characters

Robin Alexander’s books always have an array of good characters and this book is no different. I always enjoy the laugh out loud moments too.

Mixed up, should be feel-good, romance...

Think this is one to read rather than listen to....
Although I enjoyed much of this audiobook and it did make me laugh out loud at times, it is not amongst Robin Alexander's best. The story is good, with really great characters, but the humour is often rather manic and quiet often felt forced.. Much of this, however, may have more to do with the narratkiion than the writing. It fleft me with very mixed feelings. Usually I love Lori Prince's style and delivery as narrator but in this instance her Jamaican accent is so bad that it sounded like a parody, which was offensive to me and must surely sound quite racist to anyone of Jamaican origin.
