Summary

INCLUDES AN AUDIO EXCLUSIVE Q&A BETWEEN FERIUS (KRISTIN ATHERTON) AND KELLEN (JOE JAMESON)

The third utterly compelling fantasy adventure in the ARGOSI trilogy, exploring the origins of the SPELLSLINGER series to enrapture devotees as well as newcomers alike.

While liberating a notorious thief from prison, Ferius Parfax encounters an inmate named Chedran, one of the last living members of her people, the Mahdek. Chedran is leading a group of young Mahdek who are determined to make a future for their people and Ferius agrees to help them find a place where they can live free from persecution.

Meanwhile, having repaid her debt to the thief, Ferius finds her feelings towards Arissa becoming more complicated as she decides what debt she owes the society into which she was born.

Absolutely fantastic!

I can’t get enough of this series and this character! I love the wisdom and comedy combination. The plot is always entertaining, intriguing and full of action (even if it’s battles within the main characters head).

I loved it, when is the next one!?!

An edge of your seat story delivered by one of the best Audible readers. A story that reflects what's going in the world today with displaced people, racism, class war all wrapped up in a world of magic and underscored with amazing characters.

Characters

I love Ferius so much and i’m sad that her story has come to an end but i’m also happy because I got to experience it. I loved the end with a certain Jan’Tep as well - leads well into Spellslinger if you’re reading in chronological order.

A MAZE ZING!!

Some authors use 10 words when one will do, but Sebastien has a knack of using 50 words and somehow 1 will never be enough again! His stories really pull you in and you feel for the characters.
Absolutely amazing narration too… perfect character voices, pacing and the Kristin really manages to bring out the feelings and emotions of the characters!
Definitely some of my favourite books!!
