Summary

With things still raw and unsettled between Claire and her boyfriend Shane, Claire has been granted the opportunity to move out of Morganville - and she's taking it. Escorted to the town borders by Myrnin, she is given her admission papers to MIT, along with enrollment in an advanced study course with Professor Irene Anderson, a former Morganville native.

But it's hard to leave the town, the vamps and her friends behind, and Claire can't help but wonder whether leaving Morganville is actually a mistake.

Inconsistent storyline

The repeated reference of Sam Glass being staked to death by humans is completely inaccurate. He was drained and killed by Mr. Bishop as a way to break Emily. This continuous reference is irritating.

Narrator doesn't suit book

This is the first audible book I have had I listened to 5 minutes and instead decided to just get a version to read myself. I love the morganville vampire books and have read all the others so maybe that's why I didn't like this version. I didn't feel the lady narrating the book suited it I couldn't really connect her with the story and it seemed a little robotic.

dreadful narrator

great story but this series has now been ruined for me due to this narrator, she made the characters sound like 12yr olds. I've loved this series but read all the other 12 books, not sure if this lady narrated the others but I certainly won't be listening to this stirs again, I advise to buy the books and read.
