Summary

Lorelei

Our lost soldier has been found, but a new enemy has emerged within The Syndicate. War is upon us, and we must prepare for the fight of our lives. New allies appear, but can they be trusted?

As events unfold, and the battle rages, my powers spin out of control. Can I harness them, or will they be our downfall?

Vincent

The calm before the storm. As enemies rise and shift, someone I thought long-dead returns to threaten the balance. As I work with Lorelei to control the power building inside her, new allies join the fight. With Archangels and The Syndicate breathing down our necks, can we really win this war?

Lines are drawn. Battles will be fought. We must win, or everything is doomed.

Can we embrace the shadows, or will they consume us?

Paranormal Romance

Embrace The Shadows by Jenn D. Young is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige. This is the third book in the Shadows Ascending Trilogy.

This is the first series of Jenn's that I have read, and it won't be my last. She did a great job wrapping up the series. I loved the relationship that was built between Lorelei and Vincent over the course of the series. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view. It really brought the story to life.

Sarah and Tim did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like paranormal romance or fantasy romance.

Embrace the Shadows

This is the third book in the Shadows Ascending trilogy. Vincent and Lorelei have finally embraced each other. Lorelei learns more about her powers and her heritage. It comes down to the last battle for Lorelei to truly let her powers release. I loved that ending! Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige did an absolutely fantastic job with this series.

Amazing Series Finale! Outstanding Story & Listen🎧

Wow, what an amazing, action-packed series finale and what a brilliant way to conclude a brilliant series. Jenn D. Young created a fascinating world filled with equally fascinating supernatural characters. The world building and character development throughout this series has been phenomenal and if you have not started it yet, you do not know what you are missing. Like the first two books, this story swept me in right from the start, grabbed my attention and captivated it the entire time, it also brought me to the edge of my seat quite a few times. Lorelie and Vincent make a great team and with evil lurking and trying to rise to power, they are readying for the hardest challenge of their lives, to fight their enemy and rid of them for good. There are more surprises and twists and turns in this book and help that she never saw coming. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a brilliantly plotted and well-written story with plenty of drama, angst, action, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Jenn D. Young that you for this amazing story and series, it was an entertaining and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Jenn D. Young could not have chosen a better cast to bring her characters and story to life. Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige’s outstanding performance continues, they have been consistent with the characters’ voices and the quality of the audio has been top-notch throughout the series. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying and I loved how they took each role rant with it and made it their own, sounding believable in every role they played. Sarah Puckett nails it as Lorelie and she was a natural in that role. Tim Paige’s Vincent was just as amazing. Both were great performing the voices for the secondary characters and covering each other’s role in alternating chapters. These mega talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Amazing fantasy series

Embrace The Shadows( Shadows Ascending Trilogy Book 3) by Jenn D Young
Narration by Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige.

Loved this series. Creativity abounds in this fantasy world full of mystical characters. The strength of Lorelei really came through in this finale and showcased her heritage and her destiny. I loved how the characters were coupled together and were bound and mated making them stronger. It was wonderful seeing everyone again, I hoped that uncle Kanul would be present for Lorelei in her final battle. It was an epic finish to a fantastic first trilogy for a creative author who really set a high bar for her future books.

I heard all of these books on audio which throughly expanded my enjoyment of the series because both Sarah and Tim are amazing actors in all their work.

Amazing work by Jenn, Sarah and Tim!
