Can we ever know the ones we love? A comic seeks the truth behind his girlfriends disappearance...

Up-and-coming comedy talent Jozee Jackson's life seems almost perfect, until she disappears after a silly drunken argument with devoted boyfriend and new comedian, Adam Hanson. Adam is convinced she's been kidnapped. But by who? And why?

After a series of shocking discoveries that shed a new and disturbing light on Jozee's private life, Adam begins to wonder if he knows Jozee at all. Why are men from seedy hook-up websites visiting their flat when he's supposed to be at work? Who is behind the torrent of vile text messages and emails sent to Adam's phone? And, what is the dark secret of Jozee's dead ex-boyfriend? Adam won't give up looking until he finds answers to these questions - no matter what the consequences.

Full of twists and turns, this gripping thriller will make you wonder whether we can ever really know the ones we love....

This book griped me from the beginning.

After an argument with his girlfriend Jozee , Adam himself drunk outside their apartment with no keys, It is not until the next day Adam releases that Jozee had not been home all night.
He goes looking for her and starts uncover there is a lot about Jozee he never knew about .
This story has so many twists and turns,

Great summer read

I always look for a couple of new titles to digest when lounging on the beach, “Dying Is Easy” is definitely not the usual story I would pick up but it did not disappoint.

The plot, a stand up comedian looking for his suddenly disappeared stand up girlfriend, is a novel premise which I have not come across and provided rich material for both comedy and strange twists to the suspense.

The quirky setting for the mystery was populated by a diverse cast of characters and this is where the narrator was an asset. Karl Jenkinson really brings these characters to life: the performance is confident, engaging, and well thought through. You can tell the narrator has spent time studying the material so that his performance of each character is unique and his direction through the text keeps the reader engaged.

I have not come across either the author or the narrator’s work before but will definitely keep both on my radar for future releases. Highly recommend!
