Summary
To avoid being sent across an ocean, Grace switches places with her sister. The only man aware of their deception? A dear friend, and her secret love.
Grace Everly has no desire to set sail for the Caribbean, unlike her adventurous twin sister, Hope. Thanks to her sister’s irresponsible behavior and subsequent banning from the journey, Grace’s father decides to send her in Hope’s place. Desperate to remain where things are familiar, Grace proposes an unthinkable plan: that she and Hope switch places. They only have to keep up the act long enough for Hope to board a ship in London. When the man who has stolen Grace’s heart learns of their secret, things get more complicated.
Jacob Barnes, soon to be ordained a vicar, has known Grace and Hope his whole life. Though close to both sisters, he’s dreamed of courting Hope for months. When he realizes his friends have switched places, putting the woman he admires out of his reach, he agrees to help with the subterfuge despite his bruised heart. As he watches Grace stumble in her acting abilities, attempting to change who she is, he realizes how much she means to him. But how does he tell her, without risking their friendship?
The deception puts their relationship to the test. As Grace hides her heart and her identity, Jacob examines his feelings, and no one in their community will be happy when the truth is discovered.
This is the second book in the Inglewood series and can be enjoyed as a stand-alone sweet Regency romance.

Much better than the first one
This one was more believable than most in spite of what seems a far-fetched storyline. The narration was good too. Onto the next one!

Lovely story!!
I had the enjoyment of listening to this lovely book!! Not only does the story of Grace and her sister draw you into their dilemma but the narration was perfection! Twins switching places and the chaos that ensues! I loved hearing this as I felt like was there in the book. Well done!! A beautiful continuation in the series and can not wait to listen and read them all!!

Britton’s books keep getting better and better!
Sally Britton’s books are a joy to read/listen to! I am eagerly looking forward to the next book in this series to come out on Audible! I definitely recommend reading or listening to “Rescuing Lord Inglewood” before this one, as so many characters from this story (including the hero and heroine for this one) are first introduced then and you get to find out how their stories progress with this one.
A clean and endearingly sweet story - we discover how friendships can change without our notice and that sometimes we need to get out of our own way in order to find all that we ever wanted.
I am guaranteed an enjoyable read or listennfrom start to finish whenever I pick up one of Britton’s book. I wholeheartedly recommend this author for anyone who enjoys clean and wholesome Regency Era novels. I particularly enjoy Marian Hussey’s narration of these stories! She brings the story off the page with superb emotion and enthusiasm.

Discover Grace for yourself
Discovering Grace is a wonderfully well written clean regency romance. Such a clever title as everyone is discovering the real Grace Everly and what she was made of...including herself. Getting to know this 'Everly' twin on her own was delightful. The narration was very good and added depth and interest. Definitely would listen to it again.

Charming characters…
And the story continues and is well presented by the narrator …
As charming as the story might be- as much it was lacking…and one simply wanted it to get on and to be finished …
I am looking forward to continue with the next book .

Another disappointment
Although I have listened to several Sally Britton novels and enjoyed them, again I have not even finished this one. The insipidity of the narrator has left me cold. Even though there are no scenes of great passion or sex in these books there is no excuse for the characters to be so boring. There seems to be no difference in the voices or strength in the characters whether male or female. Very disappointing
