Fun short story

Good clear narration with some great growling and characterisation. The story was a good recap of or introduction to the characters with very little action. It worked as a standalone item, though it felt a bit like a fragment that hadn't quite made it into a full length story, or perhaps a prologue to something more involved.

Don’t mess with baby

In this short story a baby demon is summoned and Ivy won’t stand for it.

This story just about stands alone, as all the important details you need to know about Ivy Granger and her allies, are included; but if you have read others earlier stories it helps.

Short but sweet!

The little demon child under Ivy's protection is threatened. Her friends and allies, including one pissed off demon lawyer, will do whatever it takes to save Sparky. Those daring to summon her baby really should have thought twice about rousing the mama bear in Ivy. No spell casting is foolproof and sometimes the devil really is in the details when dealing with Ivy Granger Psychic Detective.

Another brilliant addition to E. J. Stevens much loved series. It may have been short but I loved the way it really helped to advance my knowledge of the main characters and their motivations. I particularly liked that the author chose to go with dual narration. Melanie and Anthony did an amazing job bringing the characters to life.

I thoroughly recommend this little gem to listeners who have time to kill.

Demonic

As I have read many of this author’s books this is the first audiobook I have listened to. It doesn’t detract from the story at all, it even enhances it. The narration is good as I expected. I certainly will listen to another that’s for sure. Recommended listening.
