About this listen
Attacked. Manipulated. Taken. But I never expected betrayal like this.
It will take everything I have to make it back to my mates. My wolf. My caster. My demon. My dragons. The other parts of my soul.
Our bond is deepening every day, and with it, our power is growing. A power we’ll need to fight what’s ahead.
Because someone has created an army of evil. And that army has its sights set on us.
Book three in a new paranormal why-choose reverse-harem romance trilogy from Amazon top 20 author Tessa Hale. Fated mates, powerful supernaturals, and an evil who is out for them all.

A sweet romance that made my heart ZING!
Destiny of Ashes is the third and final book in the Supernaturals of Castle Academy series. The series should be read in order.
I am so impressed with Tessa Hale and her amazing writing skills. This author does not just write a story, she creates a world that immerses her readers into the pages. Dare I say, this may be my favorite RH love story from Tessa Hale to date? There is a tenderness, a true sense of affection that had me completely in love with this romance.
It’s been a while since I’ve had such a visceral reaction to a book; while Leighton was freaking out so was I, when the guys were enraged and wanted someone to have their comeuppance, I was furious and completely on board. I felt elated with happiness at how adorable and sweet they were together, I felt sad for Leighton and the guys, I felt on edge, wondering in anticipation and dread what was going to happen next and sometimes I literally rolled my eyes at certain enemies. Well placed humour, perfect little tender moments … like come on this book was so freaking good!!
Destiny of Ashes picks up right at the end of the previous book. Leighton, Declan, Colt, Trace, Ronan and Dash have problems battering them from all sides, they don’t even get a moment to themselves that isn’t immediately interrupted. You know you’re deeply stuck into a book and invested in the characters when you are screaming at said characters to stop putting themselves in danger and you feel so frustrated you could pull out your own hair. While as you can see I had loads of emotions while reading this book, I did feel that it wasn’t as emotional as Anchor of Secrets, while it had the potential I think the pace of plot moved so fast that I didn’t have time to react and draw out all of my emotions. Also, I do wish we saw the guys’ perceptive as well.
Destiny of Ashes by Tessa Hale was a sweet and seductive RH romance that made my heart ZING! I'm an addict for paranormal romances, and this one put a new spin on this trope…
Vanessa Moyen narrates this audiobook, and she was such a decadent audio delight bringing Hale’s words to life. She did a fantastic job, when I reviewed Anchor of Secrets I mentioned that I would of liked to hear more emotion and be able to tell apart the voices of the different guys and Moyen’s performance was so much better than in Anchor of Secrets. Truly amazing!
Destiny of Ashes is an epic finale to a series we have all grown to love. I am so glad that I picked this series up and went on this very bumpy journey with these characters and that Leighton and the guys got their hard fought ending they all deserved.
I am super excited and curious about Twilight of Embers! Can’t wait for more of this world.

Great story & fantastic narration
A gripping finale to another amazing paranormal trilogy from Tessa Hale and the suspense and action ramps up right from the start as Leighton’s magic finally erupts but events conspire that means her magic is enhanced in a way that was totally unforeseen, but which could bring even more danger for her. With sizzling chemistry and steamy encounters between her and all five of her mates, the character development of Leighton has been fantastic over the series and when you throw in dragons, wolves, casters, demons, vampires and even a zombiesque dark army, the Supernaturals of Castle Academy has been a rollicking adventure from start to finish.
If anyone asked me, paranormal and reverse harem would be low down on my list of favourite genres to read but somehow Tessa Hale manages to combine these tropes perfectly. Even the ages of her characters would normally put me off but I’m never conscious of the fact that the majority are teenagers, they are so well rounded, their youth is almost a side note so if you love fantastic suspense filled plots, laced with twists, turns and secrets with engaging characters and don’t mind cliff-hangers then I strongly recommend you try her books.
Tessa Hale may have created these characters but Vanessa Moyen has definitely brought them to life with a consistent performance across the entire series. She has the ability to not only switch seamlessly between voicing male/female characters but also give each one a distinct voice making it so easy to differentiate between each one as I listened making Destiny of Ashes and the previous audiobooks an enjoyable listening experience.
