Maniac Nightmare

I did enjoy this book but was disappointed with the ending, it just ended with no clue if the bad guy was ever arrested or what even happened to him. Also one threatening note and a private investigates world grounds to a halt? Scared to go to work but won't let the policeman boyfriend stay over, somehow these reactions didn't seem right or real to me. Otherwise I enjoyed the book and it is just what I have come to expect and love from a Meredith Potts cozy mystery a simple light hearted mystery with lots of cakes.
When Melody receives a note claiming she has destroyed someone's life and she will pay she has no clue who is behind the threat. Every instinct tells her she should take it seriously but with no clues to follow up on this case sees her seeking out help from a psychic. Will her but lead her to solving this case?
The narrator was good and she did make you feel the pressure to solve the case.
