About this listen
When 19-year-old Julia Jarrett accuses her father, Donald, of abuse, their relatives and friends are outraged. The problem is, Julia died some months ago from a heroin overdose.
Her mother, Janet, is convinced that the accusing voice, heard during a spiritualist meeting, is that of her daughter. When Donald and Janet are both found dead, DCI Grace Swan is called in to investigate. But she has problems of her own; still grieving the sudden death of her partner and at odds with her superiors.
Dead Girl Found is a gripping murder mystery, told from alternating viewpoints. But which side holds the truth?
This book contains graphic sex and violence, and is not suitable for listeners under the age of 18.

Not the best book on my shelf
I received my copy free of charge in exchange for my honest review, and here it is:
My recommendation is to avoid this book like the plague, there is much swearing which seems to have been added entirely for effect, as was DCI 'Graceful' Swan's lineage.
The book makes a joke of Political Correctness as all the 'coppers' seem to be inherently sexist and racist, The narrator has played up the 'poshness' of the 'Top Brass' whilst simultaneously dumbing down the actual workers by portraying them as dumb as planks!
This all avoids the main issue of the storyline being based on an accusation from a dead woman! Ridiculous. Nobody other than a grieving Mother would believe any of that but not in the world of DCI 'Graceful' Swan! In this world it is world shaking information that makes the local press, Yes, the LOCAL press jump to attention, which results in catastrophe, for the family ... although David is very happy that everyone is dead and he's leading the Police a merry dance, he's foul mouthed, obnoxious and complains a lot about being treated like a child, whilst acting a LOT like a child!
The second half of the book is basically the same story, retold in every boring detail, with a few name changes, I do not recommend it at all unless you're looking for something to send you to sleep, it's pretty effective in that area.

A good start
A dead girl accuses her dad of abuse through a medium there lies the problem for me who would believe whole heartedly that that was the truth. But saying that it was a very well told story , well rounded characters.
Give credit to the narrator for a job well done.
