Summary
What if your fate was put in the wrong hands? What if taking it back was your only option?
The Second Alliance presses on.
The town of River's Edge is under their control. In two years since the virus, Xavier finds himself alone. His sister is dead. His mother is missing. His father is out searching for her.
He thought it couldn't get any worse, but the Second Alliance proves him wrong - cracks in their facade reveal the grim truth of their presence.
While the other survivors submit to this harsh new reality, Xavier refuses to bend. Someone must ignite the revolution before the Second Alliance swallows the town whole. Alone, Xavier doesn't stand a chance. But if defeat promises death, will anyone follow him into the darkness?
The world of Almawt seemed so simple before, but the second installment in the series will change your perspective on everything.
This dystopian, post-apocalyptic thriller is the second book in Robert Wilson's Days Since... Almawt Virus series. Look for the third installment of the series: Days Since... Jenny: Day 986

Slow build
A little slow to get going and an unexpected ending. it felt a little disjointed from the first book but maybe the storyline will come together in the third installment.

I do believe this one is better than the first
Well let me give you the good news first you don’t have to read book one to enjoy this book throughout the book they pretty much explain the backstory. Now the greater news this book is freaking awesome I do think it’s better than the first one and the first one was really really good. Onto the brief summary Xavier is a teenager who’s biggest wish is to be Reunited with this family at least his mother who he last seen when the world was still normal. Now Xavier is a cadet in the second nation who he believes in, but he can’t say the same for his best friend Taylor who miss trust everything about them. Xavier wanted to get higher up in the organization, but now he thinks he just wants out And in my opinion this is when the book gets good. I really do not read books like this usually, but the first book was now rated by one of my favorite narrators it’s a win the second book came out I was like signed me up and Matthew Crowe now rated it and I could see why they switched he is awesome the book is awesome and I can’t wait to re-book 3.

A solid story
A good continuation of the story. Still think the audio performance needs work but credit to the author on the writing. This is shaping up to be a great series with a good bit of world building narrative underlying an intriguing storyline. Well worth getting in to.

Good listen
This book was an enjoyable apocalyptic tale. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book, but it's still worth a listen if you enjoy dystopian society type books. The narration was good.

Xavier
Book 2 , this book carries on from Thomas and in my opinion even better than Thomas . By the looks of this book you best not get attached to some pivotal characters but I have book 3 Jenny downloaded and ready to go coz I need to see what happens . Once again give the series a go you won’t be disappointed

Xavier: Day 853
The second instalment of the Ahmet series, the struggles continue, Xavier is left in Grant's care when his father leaves to go and find his mother, his life is maintaining the school, a new treaty for protection welcomes the Second Alliance to their community. My favourite part is when Xavier realises things are not as they seem, and starts to mature as he realises the conspiracy surrounding them. I'm looking forward the book 3 to discover whats next.
