Summary
No matter how smart, rich and powerful you are, to achieve the goal you need to enter the Academy of Magic on the Planet Tix.
Let every moment spent within the walls of this institution be deadly, but only here an ambitious applicant will be able to get those community ties, knowledge, and skills that will help him to ascend to the very top of his social position.
Therefore, all the talented youth from the Belt of the Worlds take the entrance examinations to the Academy annually. Representatives of the lower clans arrive in the capital these days for the merciless spectacle: tests of applicants, and for risky bets on the sweepstakes.
Can Yar Row Dark pass the test, study and graduate from the Academy if only one of the thousands of accepted students reaches the graduation ceremony? We will find out soon.

Hard to like the main character.
Everything falls in the lap of the main character. There is no difficulty for him to overcome, he defeats the emperor and any other enemy with barely an afterthought, any injury and obstacle is superficial at best or just secretly becoming a means for him to grow stronger.
For example, there is a part where he loses an arm and is under attack in his own castle by over 100 elves, so you would expect him to run and fight a delaying action against them using the familiar terrain to his advantage. Nop. he just charges head on and holds his own against a dozen high level rangers until his friends come to help.

The translation is killing it
Ok, we all know that this author is skilled and the story has true potential. The problem I have is with the translation, its just done so poorly that it gives the impression the author could not write succinctly. I really found it challenging to keep track with the storyline and often found myself rewinding to try and understand what was said and implied as the translation just broke it up to much.
I am seriously debating whether or not to end it hear for this story as I dont know if I can pay more money for another poorly translated book.
