Summary
Eighteen-year-old Robbie Stone is an anti-corporate activist in 2066. During a protest in Chicago against the sinister Butterfly megacorporation, a riot breaks out, and he's almost killed before being rescued by a mysterious white-haired girl. Soon, Robbie finds himself almost killed again by an assassin with seeming superpowers. Apparently, one of a group hunting him across America.
The white-haired girl, Jane, reveals that she's from the future and that the assassins are as well. In their future, Robbie grew up to become the world's worst dictator, and now the assassins are there to make sure he never achieves his destiny. Robbie has to adjust to Jane's overbearing presence and figure out why she wants to protect him while dealing with the fact avoiding his fate may lead to an even worse future.
Dark Destiny is an exciting sci-fi action-adventure with cyberpunk elements by C. T. Phipps (Supervillainy Saga, Cthulhu Armageddon) and Frank Martin (Oscanawa, Cthulhu Is Hard to Spell).

Time dilemma
If you could go back in time to save the future, would you?? Robbie Stone is destined to destroy the world, is killing him the answer? Or can the future be changed? Assassin's from the future are hunting Robbie, can his new found body guard from the future keep him alive and change his fate. Good first book, will be interesting to see how the story progresses.

Freedom of choice.
C. T. Phipps & Frank Martin two different authors with totally different style of story telling decides to answer one of the oldest question ever: if time travel existed would you use it to change things and if you could would things get better or worse, does freedom of choice exist or is it only an illusion, are results destined and what about the age old grandpa paradox or butterfly effect dilemma like making a new fork in the river of time or crossing realities, none are simple or have answers or possibly will ever do.
Beautiful narration by Gary Noon of any of the characters in this book.

makes you think and then makes you think again
Not your typical C T Phipps book, fantastic premise and great story. Found myself continually thinking OK what if this happens what will the outcome be, then ok bay if this didn't happen then what then. had eventually say to myself no you cant change destiny so shut up and just listen. cant wait for part 2 and 3
