Sci fi meets westerns
A fan of sci fi not a fan of westerns . I was surprised to enjoy this set of books. Plenty of scope and twists, the characters were a bit alike. But worth a read

GREAT SERIES
Loved these stories, it was a warning as well as hope for a positive future, to be conscious of the evils of sybornectic advances and to make sure that science does not grey the lines between what is right and wrong. All testing should be done under strict guidelines to benefit test subjects and humankind. Well written with great charactors can't wait for more.

Easy reading and easy listening
Honey Phillips’s books are always easy reading but a collection of audiobooks makes these easy listening. If you enjoyed the books then this collection is worth picking up

It vibrates though?
High Plains Cyborg 0.5
4.2⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️&1🌶️. This was a great fast read. The world building was great for such a short novella, and the imagery of the new settlement on mars was the best combo of sci-fi, space, alien, fantasy and western. It was unlike anything else I have read. I have loved all my reads of honey Phillips so I will deffo read more from her.
The Good, The Bad & The Cyborg 1
4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️& 2🌶️🌶️. I enjoyed this, but I think the spice scenes were a little too repetitive in this one for me. This was longer than the first novella I read, but I don’t feel like the length of the book added too much more to the story. I did like the mystery surrounding the story of the wagons on their land. I listened to the audiobook and the narration was great but I preferred the first set of narrators. I liked that we revisit the characters we met in the prequel novella. Why not just 3 stars then I hear you ask? His equipment vibrates. That is all.
A Fistful of Cyborg 2
4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️& 2.5🌶️🌶️. So this one follows “the judge” or Sam to us. Or S-756. Depending on what you… prefer 😏. He’s a massive alpha-hole tbh in the beginning. Very overprotective of our FMC Addie. Their backstory was so sad and horrific. I so glad that this one touched a little on the creation of the cyborgs. And why they kept stating that they didn’t volunteer. Loved the early plot twist. This made the sort of insta-love passable. I loved the twist with blackie the horse. Amazing! Don’t underestimate these horses I reckon there will be more to see about them later in the series. I’ll not be rushing to read them as I’ve spent the last 3 whole days on mars but I would love to in the future.
