Summary

Viata omului este fragila. Fiecare fapta a noastra, buna sau rea, se revarsa in lume in valuri concentrice, atingand iremediabil vietile altora.
Exista vreo solutie in fata puterii distructive a raului?

a mix of Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky

EN: This book is very Dostoyevsky like moral story tale that presents in a satirical way the tsarist Russian society and also emphasises Tolstoy views on spirituality. Everything begins with forging a banknote and is snowballing into serious crimes in a very interesting chain of events that affects the life of dozens of other people. In the second part which may sound too preachy and didactic for the majority of readers, the criminal seeks redemption and his good behaviour leads to more good behaviour. The morale is that anything we do might influence the others and cause unforeseen circumstances and we should be very careful.
