About this listen

After Isstvan, after Deliverance, the Raven Guard still endure. Their primarch Corvus Corax has rallied countless warriors to his banner, striking back at the forces of the Warmaster on every front - from the degenerate hereteks of the Mechanicum to the cruel legionaries of the Sons of Horus, none shall escape his wrath. But although Corax has managed to stall the physical corruption of his own Space Marines, what of their spirit? And what sinister end must await those who dwell forever in the darkness?

This anthology contains all of Gav Thorpe's tales of the Raven Guard in the Horus Heresy - the novellas Soulforge and Ravenlord, and short stories The Shadowmasters, The Value of Fear and Raptor. Also included is the brand-new novella Weregeld, taking Corax's legend to its grim conclusion.

Perplexing

An odd set of stories with confused themes which ultimately feels like just more filler before the big event

love the raven guard.

******SPOILER ALERT*********

narrated well, needs a bit more depth to the voices but overall good, I was really hoping that heff and the rest of the roughs would have gotten a glorious death in battle.

Definitely worth a listen.

I really enjoyed this. Definitely a strong book in the later heresy series which some are weaker.

Good stories, narration on point and some wolves in it, which I enjoy being a Wolves fanboy.

Very Good

Intriguing and reflective. Showing a primarch, flaws and all. I loved it and was suitably morose at its bittersweet end.

Pretty good

The heroes tend to get out of sticky situations with ease, and some of the opposing forces could be much fleshed out, but the overall travel and ending of this story is very satisfying. 12 hours felt like far, far fewer.

The book seems to contain several stories, but as they all cover the same group of characters over a successive series of events the whole product holds together very well.
