Not a guide
First half is an overview of what cbt etc means and the history, second half explains a bit about what therapists do with them and mentions examples. There's a bit about what people can do but in summary this is just do mindfulness and set goals around your life principles.

Hard going
The narration makes this book a really hard listen. It sounds robotic. Did not get what I hoped from it. Quite disappointed.
