Paul Thornley brings Spider alive

This was another great outing of Spider Shepard and Paul really brings the characters alive. Yes it is more Islamic terrorism being defeated but that formula works well! Can’t wait for Stephen Leathers next book!

Another Outstanding Listen

The dream team of Leather and Thornley have done it again!
The detail and the knowledge that has gone into writing this book is match only by the performance of its delivery!
Having read every Spider novel I have to say this one could be one of the best!
The team of Sheperd and Standing combined with young Liam made for an exciting read! However is next, wether it is Spider, Standing or even Lex, I for one can’t wait!

Unexpectedly gripping and great storytelling

Great story, fabulously narrated. Sympathetic and solid characters and some awesome action. Loved some of the scenes and the interesting subterfuge, tactics and general knowledge updates. It’s a book to be focussed on for full enjoyment- rather than one to do while multi-tasking. There are key names, facts and scenarios which are easy to miss or confuse unless you’re concentrating. Subject matter unsettling but sadly, not unbelievable. Well worth a credit.
