Cosy up with the new novel in the Pudding Pantry series, full of love, laughter, and plenty of delicious pudding!

The first snow is falling over Primrose Farm, the mince pies are warming, and Rachel can’t wait to share a kiss under the mistletoe with her gorgeous new flame, Tom.

If only it was all comfort and joy . . . The arrival of Tom’s ex brings an unwelcome chill to the farm. And despite Master Baker Mum Jill’s valiant efforts, the new pudding pantry business is feeling the pinch.

With a spoonful of festive spirit, a cupful of goodwill with friends, and her messy, wonderful family by her side, can Rachel make this a Christmas to remember?

A lovely story

My overall opinion of this story is that it was lovely and sweet but there have been many occasions along the way that have irked me.
Rachel, the main character, has displayed many personality quirks that have highly irritated me in this second book - compared to just one single irritation in the first book. In a way this shows a good description of a character from the author but there have been a lot of instances where I've found her whiny, rude, disrespectful and totally unfair.
None of these instances have made me want to stop listening to the story though because it is a good one. But it is making me slightly apprehensive about the third book in the series that I am about to download.
Nevertheless, the author has done a fine job of getting her story across and the narrator did a good job too, albeit a little difficult to get my head around her rather unique-sounding reading style at times but in the end I feel that makes her more intriguing to listen to.
I must add though, that not only has this book filled me with even more Christmas spirit than I usually have but it has also inspired me, where my crafts are concerned, to push myself a lot more and look for other ways to promote them. So thank you for that Caroline Roberts.

A great second instalment

An excellent second book, Rachel and her Mum are still running the farm and keeping the Pudding Pantry going but business has slowed after the Summer rush. They wrack their brains for new ideas and start up a Pudding Club which brings in new friends. Christmas is on the horizon and Christmas puddings feature at one of the club evenings. With all the pressure to keep things going Rachel has little time for her budding romance with Tom and things come to a head. A really enjoyable read, looking forward to the next instalment in book three.
