About this listen

Sexy firefighter Logan Bailey is an expert at putting the wet stuff on the hot stuff - on and off duty. But he just did the unthinkable, and it wasn’t trading in his tube socks. He slept with his nemesis. His mortal enemy. The crazy redhead he loves to hate. Cara Goulding.

And no matter how much he wants to lie to himself, he has to admit, it was mind-blowing.

Cara will not be tempted by the one night she spent with prince dickhead - even if her traitorous body remembers every earth-shattering moment. It was a mistake and she’s stronger than that. She’ll just keep avoiding him and pretend it didn’t happen.

But the feuding small town of Tilikum might not be big enough for the both of them. Avoiding each other isn’t working. And with every moment they’re forced to spend together, the sparks get hotter, the flames grow brighter, and the tension borders on unbearable.

Until they both reach their breaking point and their fiery relationship explodes.

Author’s note: a sexy firefighter and the sassy redhead who drives him crazy. All the banter, delicious tension, a heartwarming family, and Kindle-melting steam. Enemies to lovers is as hot as it gets and these two are fire.

wonderful

I read this book when it first got released. I've just done a listen to the whole series. I loved it. I couldn't stop smiling while listening. A fantastic book taken to the next lever with expert narration. 5 stars

Easy listening.

This book is exactly what you'd expect it to be. A nice romance, nothing spectacular but enjoyable read.

The female narrater, Virginia Rose was great! The male narrater Teddy Hamilton was OK but didn't seem to have much range, all his female voices sounded the same.

I realised this was part of a series after reading it. I probably wouldnt pay to read the rest of the series but if they became included with my audible subscription I would.

Enjoyed but not as much as others in series

First time I listened to the series I missed this one out. I didn't really warm to kiera in the previous books. however when I decide to listen to them again after levi's book was released, I decided to listen to this one and was pleased I did. not as good as the others but still good and you get the ongoing story of the mystery surrounding the feud.
These are light hearted, easy reads with a nice bit of humor added in. Nothing too deep and meaningful but perfect when you're in the mood for this sort of read. Highly recommend the series

5*+++++

Logan & Cara have always clashed heads with each other.
Their quips at each other so amusing trying to get one up on the other.
Skylar's book release party goes better than expected for the two of them but do they really hate each other? two complete opposites with lots of chemistry.
I've loved reading about the Bailey Brothers in the previous books and Cara's personality totally called to me so knowing she got her story made my day.
