While investigating a story, she suddenly finds herself back in the crosshairs of the Savage Kings. Uncovering the secrets that the club's president is trying to keep hidden may very well put her life in danger. She may be able to handle the threat, but she can't escape the man who broke her heart.
Chase hasn't forgiven himself for hurting Sasha and causing her an unbelievable amount of pain. He still wears her name on his chest, a reminder of the night that he wrecked his bike and everything the two of them had together. Now, with secrets, lies, bloodshed, and violence causing chaos in the club, Chase is determined to use his second chance with Sasha to keep her safe. He never imagined that the best way to do that would be to get her as far away from him and the MC as possible.
Warning: This is an emotional story full of suspense and steamy scenes. While the main characters in this book will get a HEA, the struggles of the MC will continue to unravel throughout the series.

Chase Fury, yep sexiest name ever!
This relationship was a total fairytale but thankfully Chase fury wasn't a prince charming and this story isn't as sweet as it first seems. Nope sexy badass biker all the way. He might have been wrapped around Sasha's finger but only she gets the sweet side everyone else gets the revengeful renegade. He's a hot head and does a lot of reacting in this book. Sasha is the hot news caster that has a penchant for bad boys and owns the heart of Chase Fury. She's a bad boys wet dream with her sexual prowess. Together they make for one hot couple. This book isn't all hot and heavy it has some very heart wrenching moments. Both narrators came across as seasoned professionals. Jeffrey Kafer killed it as sexy badass biker. Heather Costa is new to me and I was very impressed. She has a very sultry voice and she did the Male voice well. I'd recommend this book, it was worth the credit

Thoroughly entertaining.
OMG! This book has so much. Violence, twists and turns, blackmail, secrets, unconditional love, grief and more, a storyline that will have you experiencing several emotions as you read. The characters are great so it was easy for me to connect with them. There are enemies trying to destroy the club family, and a mystery that is yet to be solved. Do they have a traitor, and who will it be? I guess I will have to find out in the next book in the series as the stories seem to be intertwined. I read the kindle copy and it's so good. got this free audio copy and I had to listen again. The narrator did an excellent job bringing forth all the emotions, I could hear and feel them alongside the characters.

A fabulous start to the series
Chase is the first book in the Savage Kings MC series.
Ten years ago, after an accident on his bike, Chase lost the love of his life. They went their separate ways. He eventually patched in and became the VP of the Kings, alongside his president brother Torin. Sasha went to university and studied journalism. Chase tortures himself watching her nightly news reports. He has never gotten over her. Sasha never forgave him for abandoning her when she needed him.
When her reports start encroaching on MC business, Torin instructs Chase to deal with it. Coming together out of the blue makes the two of them realise that they’re still in love with each other. As a bad situation with a meth dealing cartel that is invading their home town spirals further out of control with devastating results, the two of them have to pull together, not pull each other apart.
This was an intense and emotional introduction to the Savage Kings MC. It kick starts a war that could see more lives lost in the future with no real winners if more blood is spilt. The MC is left in a state of leadership confusion with Chase having to take up the gauntlet as Torin goes off the rails. We are left still wondering what was on that videotape…
A fantastic story with clear and concise narration. The narrators voices are able to convey the heavy emotions making it all the more dramatic. Excellent all round.
