Summary
Thomas Walsh knows the number-one rule in the film industry: Don't get involved with the talent. But resisting the urge to take the big screen to the bedroom can be hell when the lead actor on the set looks good enough to eat...one slow lick at a time.
Peter Erickson's latest role as a gay man hits a little too close to home. He's still in the closet and secretly grieving the death of his lover. Then an enchanting production assistant catches his eye, and he's surprised by the instant attraction that stirs more than his wounded soul. When the two men are caught on camera in a very intimate pose, both Thomas and Peter are afraid they've caught a tiger by the tail.

Instant attraction
This instant attraction, age gap story is heartwarming. This short story has so much packed into it. There is the secrecy and the decisions to come out. There is the strong attraction that just can’t be denied. There is the age gap that always makes someone stand back and evaluate. Then there is always the family issues that cause so much pain. This story flows right along and this became a enjoyable listen for me. Michael Dean’s narration really made this story come to life and gave these characters personality.

Sweet
Very cute, sweet, and to the point.
It was a very low angst, fully emotional journey that filled my little heart with hope and sweetness.

So so so good
So I began this one hoping for the best but not knowing what to expect. I got however a really well paced novel with characters that I found both entertaining and well written. I loved the amount of drama that the book delivered it wasn’t over the top but it was an appropriate amount seeing as it was dealing with a character who hadn’t yet come out.
Fantastic narration that matched the pacing of this book left me with a winner here

Fun and Delightful
Catch a Tiger by the Tail is a sweet contemporary romance between a hunky Hollywood actor and a passionate production assistant. From the start I immediately fell in love with Thomas’ spunk and drive. He’s enthusiastic about his job as a production assistant and loves the work he does on movies. The romance and relationship development between Peter and Thomas was delightful – I enjoyed the magnetic attraction they had for each other and how fast and hard they fell for each other. The drama that their relationship caused was also fun to experience, and of course, I loved the happy ending.
The audiobook was narrated by Michael Dean and he did a fantastic job. Michael really embodied each character perfectly. The story was captivating and enjoyable, and the well done audiobook production was the lovely cherry on top.

My first Gabbi Grey book and I loved it!
This was a great little story. It’s a coming-out and insta-love with fairly little angst. I really enjoy books of this length because I can easily finish them in one evening. Michael Dean did his usual great job with his performance of the audiobook.
I’ll be checking out more stories by this author!

Cute, low-angst, insta-love.
This was a short, insta-love story. Peter and Thomas actually go from closeted acquaintances to all-in, family-ed up in less than three weeks. Not really a fake relationship trope, because they actually start dating for real, even though they do so publicly.
I maybe would have preferred the book to delve a bit deeper into both character’s feelings (especially their grief over losing their loved ones), as it can result a bit “superficial” sometimes. Nonetheless, it’s very pleasant and enjoyable, and Michael Dean’s narration made it a very good listen!

Some favorite tropes
I loved this one which had a mix of age gap, hurt/comfort, workplace romance and sudden outing. Thomas and Jason both have issues from their past to deal with before they can have a real relationship but their chance to work through them slowly together is jerked away by one photo. I loved how the author wrote the story after that event and how these two guys worked everything out. Michael Dean gave a wonderful performance here, capturing their initial uncertainties, their clear attraction and their fears when everything seemed to fall apart.
