LOVE TO FALL ASLEEP — kicking nocturnal habit.
Most chapters are a half hour long, and really transports you. I really LOVE this.
My usual go to is Oxygéne by JM Jarre (bar one part), to fall blissfully asleep, but this works brilliantly too.
Skip first and last ... talkie-talkie.
Chapter 2, 4, 5, 7 are my absolute favourite soundscapes for sleep and anything else, there are more that fit the bill, but these ones really draw me into another place and time.
The whole album is great as relaxation or focus music (eg: headphones, laptop and you).
Just wish I could arrange chapters in a playlist to put all sleep ones together, as there are a few prone to waking me up... twinkly twinkly, sometimes a little hard/loud on piano key compared to rest, and unexpected.
But this is why I set a timer.
It’s common in baby-lullaby music, but they aren’t yet hardwired to respond to subtle tones and noises found in modern alarm ringtones.
Buy it, relax into it, you won’t regret it.
(ch4 reminded me of the movie Avatar ... the planet I mean, — I don’t know why, as I haven’t seen it since the cinema, but it was a nice place to spend time before drifting off).
