Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

The enthralling debut novel from Channel 4 F1 presenter Steve Jones - it's Sliding Doors meets High Fidelity.

Bob Bloomfield is, in the words of his best friend's wife, a 'selfish, arrogant a--ehole', who hasn't spent a great deal of time making friends in his 49 years on earth.

But what if he could change? What if Bob could stop the very thing that has made him the man he is, the death of his younger brother, Tom in 1986.

If he could save Tom, could he save himself?

...And what if all it took was a phone call?

Strange and creepy

At the beginning I felt that Steve the narrator was rushing to read the story but he then got into a good pace. The story is a little far fetched but enjoyable and gripping who knows what the future holds

Da iawn Steve.

The book is great. There were 2 little repetitions and the young Bob's words are missing from the initial phone call but aside from that it was spot on. Looking forward to the next one. Llongyfarchiadau Steve.

Great Time Travel story

Thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. Well drawn characters and a fun, albeit far-fetched story. The narration by the author was fantastic too

A different book

The story is a bit mad, it’s not for you if you like a story based on reality, but I loved it. It had quite a few twists that I didn’t really see coming.

loved it

Well, the idea of being able to change your path by calling your younger self is what made me want to read it (listen in my case). I have to say I was getting a bit impatient in the 1st 5 or 6 chapters but I loved it. If only it could be true eh !! Maybe a film for the future ?

Unique, unexpected & engaging!

Such a well crafted story with instantly interesting characters in a story that surprises and is never predictable. Narrated brilliantly by the author himself. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It would make a terrific limited tv series if it was ever adapted. I'm going to take a chance on Steve Jones' next book now - who knew he could write?! Definitely recommend!!!
