Summary
Introducing the best methods for getting things done, even if you’re a serial procrastinator.
How often do you put off things that you don’t feel like doing? Do you pretend that you work better under pressure when it actually stresses you out? Could you accomplish far more if you stopped procrastinating, but you don’t know how?
We face a multitude of responsibilities in our everyday lives, and sometimes it’s hard to decide where to place our priorities. The busier you are, the more likely you might be to take on the “why do today what you could leave for tomorrow” mentality.
It’s time to accept that you’ll never get anything done this way. It’s time for a new way of living. It’s time to beat procrastination.
Breaking the Procrastination Habit will teach you why you procrastinate, how that affects your life, and how to do things today that will benefit you tomorrow.
Along the way, you’ll also learn more about yourself and the role self-confidence has to play in preventing procrastination. Life can be so much simpler, easier, and more enjoyable if you can kick procrastination to the curb. There’s a better way to do things, and you’ll learn all about it in this book.
In addition, you’ll discover:
- How to manage your priorities to beat procrastination

Very helpful
I enjoyed listening to this audiobook, which has a lot of valuable information and tips to apply in order to prevent procrastination. Like many other people in this period, I've been working from home, and we all know how distracting that can be, so this book came in very handy. I liked the chapter about mindfulness, is something I'm trying to better incorporate into my life.

Useful tips about productivity and procrastion
This isn't the first book on procrastination I've listened to, and probably won't be the last (maybe that says something about me?)
I enjoyed the fresh take on the situation, because the book went beyond just telling you to "do the work". The sections on positive thinking and mindfulness were particularly eye opening. The meditation guide was interesting, and that's a habit I will adopt going forward.

Super Helpful Book!
The tone was very good with this audiobook. I like how the theme of the book about prioritizing time was printed at the beginning of the book to set the tone. This book is the one you need if you are a person who procrastinates. I also liked how the author linked concepts of self-confidence and self esteem, mindfulness, positive thinking and meditation can help you change your perspective on life and in return help overcome your procrastination habits. Its also very well written easy to understand and practical steps to implement.
