Summary

In this book, you will learn how the power of leverage and inflation can make you rich without working any harder than the average employee. You will also learn the difference between good debt and bad debt and why saving alone will not make you rich.

In the years following the 2008 financial crash, governments around the world have borrowed, printed, and created more money than at any time in history.

How will it ever be paid back? Much of it will never be paid back, and it's legal. Why? The reason is inflation.

After a decade of low inflation and artificially low interest rates, the world looks to be entering a new inflationary age, along with higher interest rates.

Why does this matter to you?

How will inflation affect your cash savings?

How does inflation affect assets and the money borrowed against them?

How can you benefit and even get richer instead of poorer in an inflationary era?

✅ Superb guide to wealth creation from a UK expert

No nonsense / articulate book which strikes the right balance between breadth / depth & experience / stories, IMO.

I particularly like the summaries at the end of each chapter. I'm going to listen back and create a mind map of these fine gems!

I have a decent amount of commercial experience, having launched a successful digital health website in the UK just over 10 years ago...

I think this book is a good choice for both complete beginners as well as those who are more experienced in this area. In my case, I found the book to be very reaffirming and it has given me confidence that I'm on the right track with my current strategy.

I would definitely recommend this book to friends and family. IMO, it's very good and I agree with the points made, although it would be wise to keep up with current affairs as the situation now is quite volatile (inflation, interest rates, everything bubble, etc).

I started reading this book as I had taken up Charles Kelly's offer for a complementary wealth advisory zoom call, after discovering his YouTube channel last week - I simply wanted to gauge what kind of person he was before talking to him.

Now that I've met Charles on zoom, watched his recent YouTube video and listened to this book, I am left with a distinct feeling that he is an honest man with sound financial judgement. I will gladly continue to consume his quality content and wish him well.

Very good

Highly informative, well narrated. Would definitely recommend to everyone as a great introduction to these concepts. Nice to have a financial text that is UK focused for once as well!
