Brilliant
Having Phil read his own accounts is brilliant. Sounds like a hell of a life and Phil is obviously very good at what he does to survive so many encounters.

Loved this book - Amazing narrator!!!

great listen
Id never heard of this geeza but the book was recommended after listening to previous ex sas books, this was great from start to finish, great to hear it read by the author and great stories. big Phil sounds like a proppa geeza who you could listen to over a pint down the pub all eve.

Excellent book and really funny too
Don’t normally write reviews for the books I listen to but thought that “big Phil” had earned a gleaming review of this book. It’s great to have the author narrating, the story is gripping and feels like you are sat in the “boozer” being recounted the story in person. Very highly recommended

Riveting
Read the book in one day, it was that compelling. A gripping, one man’s story of overcoming incredible challenges.
I’ve read so many “How You Can Achieve Incredible Results in no Time at All” type books that I needed an antidote. This book was a perfect solution.

One of the most insightful tellings of a PMC and SAS soldier
Phil my man a total legend in his own account what a life you have lead and this book is a testament to that! Amazing listen Iv had to do this book twice to take it all in as it’s that gripping
