17h is simply just not enough for this.
17h is simply just not enough for this. it's definitely not what I normally go for but with a pleasant listen. and the narrator oh the narrator this man needs a raise because whatever you've been paid isn't enough.

Bob is a good guy
The thing I really like about these stories is it's not fast pace, you can really get to like the characters.
Life is not always what you want but you make the best of what your given, and that's bob all over.

Amazing performance!
A great performance and some how I got through it all. A nice story, nothing gripping but at the same time very "listenable".
Not high tech but very easy listening

The best sci fi space opera book I've ever read
This isn't my go to genre for reading but I've never been more entertained. I don't know if it's the story line or the narrator, but the combination of the 2 works it's magic perfectly.

Good performance but a little bit boring
Chris Ciulla did a good performance. I am sorry to say the story was a bit flat for me. The protagonist, whose name I have already forgotten, showed such a lack of curiosity about the origins of the saucer people that I wonder if he was hypnotised. The aliens themselves not only sounded Human but appeared to have no culture of their own. Really. They must have had entertainment and passtimes. But other than the tasteless reconstituted food not a lot was said.
They did seem not to blink at eating meat or its origins. But that was new to them. Weird. The tone was very sub-Heinlein. Unconscious right wing leanings.
