The banter and the story was fantastic

Amazing

the attitude and mannerisms were so accurate to the character
i love how the narrator portrayed the characters so accurately, however i wished there was dual narration because that would have really topped this off

Such an amazing surprise!
WOW. Such an unexpected, but amazing surprise, this book. I LOVED IT! Loved the FMC, she is funny and smart, sarcastic, strong willed and has a great character development throughout the book. She is a bit clueless at times, but in an endearing sort of way. The plot is really captivating and I loved that it’s not just another training, magical abilities discovery journey, but it has its own take on it. It all felt real, the characters and their experience felt relatable. Absolutely adored Nyx and Fluffy Jr, it’s always a nice touch when there’re some cute animal sidekicks.
The MMCs, well, that’s another story, I kinda hate them, but in a really good way, it makes me root for our girl and I’m really invested in finding out what’s going to come next, how will the story unfurl.
This is a slow burn ish (a bit of spice at the end), RH, but I feel that the romance bit falls next to the FMCs growth journey. And yeah, it had me giggling and standing on the end of my chair all around. I just couldn’t put it down.
The narration is really great, despite some mispronounced words here and there (particularly for the latin pieces), it really brought the characters to life with dual POV.
Conclusion? I highly recommend this book!

Fabulous
This book is amazing, this is my second time reading it and it just gets better! Loved the audio book the performances they where fantastic and made you really feel like you are part of the story!!! highly recommend 👍🏻

interesting story ,
interesting story , with unique female main character .

Incredible performance!
What a great read. I really loved The MFC inner dialogue and the performance from the narrator was masterful, I laughed and lived her performance.
I would have loved dual narration, but the story was masterful, the world building brilliant.
I can’t wait for book 2!

Enjoyable!
I really liked this story! I liked the idea of alternative view of events. I found I was a bit dismayed for the events happening to Alexis. Like she couldn't catch a break.
The narration was good and it was interesting how it was the same female narrator from the Touch of Darkness series, which felt a similar story in some ways.
I am looking forward to the next book.

Voice actors performance.
Found it disappointing that most of if not all male characters were voice by a woman even though it gives us an amazing cast list.
