Summary

Being a psychic in the small seaside town of Fox Harbor is challenging enough, but winter months are brutal. Not that using his clairvoyant abilities to hunt down lost pets isn't thrilling, but Lorenzo wouldn't mind a tiny bit more excitement in his life.

Enjoyable Story

Enjoyable story that is well written with likeable characters and good world building. The narration is very good as well.

A bit odd

I was surprised to find out this was a recent book, as it felt like something written while the writer was learning how to craft a story. The build up was slow and portentous, worthy of book 1 of a trilogy. But then we were suddenly into the action, and soon it was all over. Several possible plot threads just never materialised. It was as if the author planned to write more, and then got tired of it and just finished it off as quickly as possible.
Not terrible, the relationship bits were up to the author's usual standard, but just a bit odd.
