■自身がロールモデル■

4歳のときに父を脳腫瘍で亡くし、母子家庭で育つ。
脳腫瘍の原因は勉強のしすぎと思い込んでいた母から
「勉強はするな」と言われつつ医学部に進学。
体育が苦手だったが、50歳でマラソンをはじめ、58歳で3時間7分を記録。
努力の賜物ではなく、遅咲き遺伝子のおかげと思っている。
