About this listen

The squad you love is out of time. Prepare for the thrilling finale in the epic, best-selling Aurora Cycle series about a band of unlikely heroes who just might be the galaxy's last hope for survival.

Is this the end?

What happens when you ask a bunch of losers, discipline cases and misfits to save the galaxy from an ancient evil? The ancient evil wins, of course.

Wait.... Not. So. Fast.

When we last saw Squad 312, they were working together seamlessly (a.k.a., freaking out) as an intergalactic battle raged and an ancient superweapon threatened to obliterate Earth. Everything went horribly wrong, naturally.

But as it turns out, not all endings are endings, and the team has one last chance to rewrite theirs. Maybe two. It’s complicated.

Cue Zila, Fin and Scarlett (and Magellan!) making friends, making enemies and making history? Sure, no problem.

Cue Tyler, Kal and Auri joining forces with two of the galaxy’s most hated villains? Um, okay, yeah. That too.

Actually saving the galaxy, though?

Now that will take a miracle.

An Absolutely Perfect Conclusion

I cannot put into words just how incredible this book is, and how great a job the voice actors did to portray it.

I struggle to feel emotions at the best of times, guess I'm like Z that way, but this book had me actually laughing out loud, struck in horror at the tension, and even on the verge of tears at times.

Please, I implore you, listen intensely to the absolutely beautiful piece of writing and stunning performance.

Just outstanding

I didn’t want this book to end! But what a bloody ending, I laughed, cried, stopped what I were doing in pure shock, and was left amazed! Fantastic performance by all the readers, but it’s not hard to be when the material is this good!

great conclusion

I loved the whole series of these and this final episode was not a disappointment. The only disappointment was that not one of the actors could manage a passable Australian accent, they all sounded like Dick van Dyke cockerneys, cor blimey guvna. Thankfully, the story and the rest of the narration was good enough for me to continue with just a passing wince.

So sad it was only a 3 book series, great end to a fantastic story and what a great great cast of narrator’s who all done a wonderful job at giving life and depth to these characters.

Enjoyable

The whole series is light, entertaining, and well planned. Narrators are amazing! They bring so much life to each character.
I qualify it to be more fantasy than sci-fi. There are just too many cliches, mind magic, cross-species mating bonds, and overly used word "quantum" for me to see it otherwise. But if you just ignore it and go with the flow, then I believe it can be enjoyable read.

* SPOILERS A HEAD *

Unfortunately, it has two of my least favorite tropes. Mind battle and female protagonist losing her powers. Even the latter kind of make sense, I still don't like it. I cannot think of one male hero who met this fate 🙄. The bright side is that the whole plot is very predictable, so there is time to brace for it.

brilliant conclusion that keeps you guessing

I really loved this whole series. The different points of view, the past paced action & the wonderful story just sweeps you up. I laughed, I cried & at times was really worried for these characters. Top marks very much deserved.

Holy Cake this is awesome!

What a brilliant end to the trilogy. Squad 312 is brought to life with the excellent cast making this an absolute gem of an audiobook along with the first two parts. I highly recommend The Aurora Cycle!

The Emotional Rollercoaster Was Real!

I am so sad this book series has ended! The whole emotional rollercoaster was too real! I honestly was tearing up with the whole thing with Zila! I loved the plot so much! It definitely didn't feel predictable which is good. I appreciated how the theme of love was tied into the plot so nicely. Wonderful ending to the Aurora Cycle. I am a little sad that Zila wasn't on the cover but I love Finn so can't complain too much. Also, I love Kal was forgiven and accepted back into the family. I would've been heartbroken otherwise :)
