Wonderful treat for the ears, heart and head
This is a very useful and honest insight into the life of a successful individual. Obviously the focus is on considerations when contemplating life as a “working adventurer.” However, there are many great nuggets in here that provide a range of useful tips and advice for anyone at any stage of life l, all given with great humility. Feels like an honest chat in the pub with an old friend/mentor/sibling etc.

Like having a chat in the pub.
I have zero interest in becoming a professional adventurer but still found this book to be a wonderful listen. I've always wanted to know the realities and behind the scenes of how being a "pro" adventurer works and Al answers with aplomb. As an added bonus there is a lot of wonderful advice for anyone's life and career. Heartily recommended.
