About this listen
Who’s the dragon going to call for a ghost problem? Me.
I don’t normally deal with nasty ghosts, but when Nix needs help, I’m the only one qualified. His dragons are under attack, and it’s up to me to stop it. But Nix isn’t making it easy. He seems determined to hate me because I’m a necromancer, and he wants nothing to do with the attraction smoldering between us.
This specter isn’t a random haunting, and it's connected to both Nix and me. We’re going to have to work together to defeat it, but if Nix finds out how I’m connected, any trust I’ve built with him will go up in smoke.
Can a necromancer and a dragon find a way to make it work? With evil spirits abounding, it’s more than just our lives at stake, and if we fail, death is only the beginning of our suffering.

Nix and Mikhail
Nix is a Dragon shifter with a Ghost problem, he asks for help and a Necromancer named Mikhail comes to help. Nix doesn't like Necromancers due to his brother being killed by one. It starts off hating and turns to love, an intriguing fast paced story that drags you in from the beginning. Great narration

Wonderful magical fantasy
I really enjoyed this second book/audiobook in the Dragon Magic series. I would call it completely stand alone except for the last chapter. At that point, some characters from the first book are involved, so if you haven't read or listened to that one, you may be a little confused. It's not a big piece, but it does tie the overarching bigger mystery in with the first book. I loved this audiobook, the gruff angry dragon Nix, and the necromancer Mikhail. It has a bit of enemies to mates, intriguing magic, some mystery and strange deaths being caused by a poltergeist, and plenty of surprises and twists along the way. I really enjoyed watching Nix and Mikhail fall for each other, and wondering if Mikhail's secret would destroy it all. I loved the necromancers' magic and their ability to walk between the worlds, though I confess I didn't understand how it all worked. This is an exciting, fast-moving story, and Mikhail's familiar provided plenty of laughs, too.
The narration was smooth and well-paced, and I had no trouble telling who was speaking at any time.
I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook through Gay Romance Reviews and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Fantastic
The narrator was amazing - he made the story come alive.
The overall plot had me intrigued. This book was definitely a page turner: I loved the characters, the snark, attitude, heat and chaos that followed. I thoroughly enjoyed this one despite, having to cover my eyes and peep through my fingers, to see what was happening. Some things made me shiver; other moments made my eyes pop out and sometimes I was left with an image I’d rather not think of. Fantastic addition to the series!

Good story, great narration
This was a very interesting story that I really enjoyed.
Nix and Mikhail are great. I love ennemies to lovers and this was a good example of that trope.
You can really how much they dislike each other at the beginning and it gradually changes, subtly.
I really enjoyed the story itself. It was interesting and different.
Lance Adams brings everything to life, and drew me in. I really loved his voice for Mikhail and Nix.

Ashes and Grave
This is the second book in the Dragon Magic Series but can be read/listened as a stand-alone as I did.
The world building and character development were well written and the plot exciting and interesting.
The authors definitely have a great imagination and sense of humour and I will look forward to listening to others from the series.
Lance Adams is a new to me narrator and did a great job bringing the characters to life.
