About this listen
I don't know whether this is the story of Jeff the autistic individual, Jeff the man of God, or Jeff the medical enigma; but I do know it is the story of Jeff, my son.
Jeff was so autistic, and yet not autistic at all if you used the textbook definition. He had huge sensory integration issues and appeared to be living inside of himself, but he cared so much for God and other people that their needs always came above his own. He had severe speech issues, only spoke one-word answers, but wrote beautiful papers and prayers when given the Canon communicator.
He desired to go to regular school and be normal only to decide normal wasn't so great after all, and he blossomed much more when he got in an adult program at the Intermediate School District. He talked about screaming inside but no one could hear him while on the outside he wrote his name and address every day and brought home the result of his effort every evening only to go back to it another day. As he got older and understood himself more, he developed a split personality. R----d was the autistic guy who couldn’t relate to the world while Jeff was the man of God who kindly tried to put everyone else at ease.

Great listen
I’ve spent many years working with autistic children and adults, so I was interested in finding out what this book has got to say about autism. I found it interesting to hear the story from the parent’s point of view. The story was inspiring. It can help to bring awareness within the wider community where people are less familiar with the challenges that people with autism and their families face.

touching!
I'm so glad for the fact that author has taken out her precious time to spread knowledge about autism. The entire time i listened to this book, it was like someone giving me a shoulder and explaining each and every thing with such calm and peace. Having an autistic member comes with a lot of challenges. Jeff, his mama's intellectual child is quite caring and connected with God, interprets things differently and wishes to go to a normal school. Author has shared her experience while raising his child and has got an amazing guide for all the autistic people out there. Heart touching!

Horizons widened
This is a unique story filled with inspirational ideas and experiences from the life of Jeff. Autism is a serious mental block, but the ones who have it find a way every day to deal with it and manage to live strong colourful lives. This strength is portrayed vividly in this audiobook. I believe it will touch the hearts of many, sharing the lessons taught and learned from these relatable characters. Definately a beautiful read.

Wow- Just Wow!
This book is beyond moving as the author tells a personal story that truly opens your eyes to humanity, humility, and the invaluable worth of every individual on this earth. The author also helps to shed light on the diagnosis of autism and other diagnoses that tend to separate individuals from societal "norm" and the lessons we miss in doing so.

Our Basic Instinct of Love
This story is a little sad, yet also so loving. We often don't think to understand the struggles that others are experiencing. We go about our lives thinking that our struggles are unique. Everyone has a story, and if you want to feel blessed, you should walk in someone's shoes now and then. Although each of our struggles is unique, faith in God and using our natural instinct of love can be all we need for life to be good every day. Unconditional love and faith.
This book reminds us that how we choose to deal with the hand we've been dealt makes all the difference in the world to our own happiness. Focusing on our gifts and those of others, versus our struggles or judgments. The amount of love and faith that Jeff and his mother have is special, and you don't have to have a loved one with autism to learn from this book. If we could all be a little bit more like them, the world would be a better place.

Inspiring
It’s so eye opening to read about the life of someone with autism and the lens that they see the world through. This is an inspiring story about Jeff which I am sure will touch people’s hearts. It portrays the deep emotions of someone who is autistic and Jeff’s perspective on life.
A great story to share

It really is another kind of normal
I love that this author has taken the time to educate the world about her son instead of conforming to the pressure of societal norms. I learned a lot from this book, and it helped me better understand autism which I am thankful for. It really is another kind of normal.

Touching and revealing
An intersting story and an appraoch to life. I think this is a story for people to reflect on life and to realize that no mattar how life treats you, there is always a workaround to it and it is in your hand to make the best out of it.
I think it was a mom, Lynne Seeger, processes her experience with her son, Jeff. Thanks for sharing your experiences and it show that there is always another kind of normal.
Even though I have no immediate relatives, friends or acquintances who are autistic, I am currently wathing the Good Doctor, an autistic medical doctor and was able to relate to Jeffs story and exeriences somewhat.
The narration of the book was good, right tempo, and pleasing to the ear.
