About this listen
No one's ever caught me thinking with my manhood.
Being demisexual means attraction doesn't always come easy. And it has a way of knocking me off my feet. I can't want Joel. I'm pretty sure he's scared of me, and we're working together.
It's a recipe for disaster.
Too bad my emotions say otherwise. And once they start talking, my body starts listening. I've been screwed by love before. Is Joel worth taking the risk?
There’s no need to get bent out of shape over one hot guy.
Managing talent puts me in the path of plenty of attractive men, so there's no reason to freak out every time I see Kyzer. Besides being gorgeous, he's covered in ink and as intimidating as they come. You'd never know from looking at him how gentle he is. He's a client and no matter how much I want him, he's off limits.
There are lines in this business that you can't cross. I know it's best for both of our careers. But what if throwing out the rules leads us down the path to happily ever after?

A Demi Romance
Angel Ink is the seventh book in the Get Ink’d series and the second one to be set within the L.A. spin-off shop. This book can be easily read as a standalone, but I do enjoy the other books in the series and think they are worth reading to fully immerse into the universe.
Kyzer is one of the tattoo artists hired on to staff the L.A. shop and star in the spin-off reality show. Joel is the producer in charge of making the reality show a hit while also trying to keep his family from falling apart. The last thing both Kyzer and Joel expect to find with each other is a deep attraction that continues to grow despite the obstacles. The romance between Joel and Kyzer is full of tension at first, but I like the slow steady growth of it, especially the emphasis put on dating and getting to know each other. Kyzer identifies as demisexual so it was wonderful to see how respectful Joel was of his sexuality and how they both worked on the relationship. There were some angsty moments, but nothing that lasted too long, and the happy ending was worth all the angst.

AHHHHH
I was a little hesitant because of the narrator. It did take me a few chapters to get into it but overall i really enjoyed it. I hope this isn't the end as I think we need more of the west coast.

Sweetness
Yay for demisexual rep!! I love diverse reads and I liked that these series has a few varying sexualities.
Kyzer is so sweet! I really liked his big marshmallow self and he shyness and care for others. He matches Joel well.
I liked Chester and would have loved his story! it would have been interesting to see him taken by the "curse" lol
A nice end to a wonderful found family, second chances series!

Great series
I love this series, and this book was no different—such chemistry. I loved the development and how we really got to know the characters as they took the time to know each other. I sped the narration up to 1.2, sometimes 1.3, which made the narration a lot better. There were some questionable side character voice choices, but I was able to ignore them.

Wonderful storyline
This one is certainly an interesting and compelling story. The characters were so very well described and fascinating. Learning about who they were and who they are trying to be.
This was a fascinating book, however I will admit that the narrator was not the very best however the story was well worth it

Kyzer and Joel
Really enjoyed this book, Kyzer is Demi sexual, and I learnt what that meant, and how Kyzer felt. Joel was a wonderful brother and protector, and we see that with his family and Kyzer.

Great story
I have really enjoyed this entire series with Regan as the head of the group, and this is the first of the books that's now based in LA. Honestly, it was hard for me to get past the creepy voices of the side characters and the edits in narration to really enjoy the story.
I loved that Kyzer was demisexual because I feel like it was a good example of what it means to have to form a bond with someone before you feel sexual feelings towards them, and I felt Joel was truly a great partner for him. It was an interesting pairing with a lot of great scenes. I just couldn't get past the narration.

A boss affair…
Kyzer and Joel’s story is rather sweet. I like the fact that Kyzer is demi and his romance with Joel is paced and focused. Yet so many things happen, and Joel loses prospective. Good thing he reflects on it fast enough. The secondary characters like Chester and Joel’s brother need their own book I think. Chester is awesome. I loved Kyzer and was rooting for him all the way!

Love this world
Ahhh, Kyzer and Joel. These two had so much baggage to unpack and had to be so brave to take a chance on their relationship and I was pulling for them all the way. I love the way Ali Lyda always writes characters who are respectful and understanding of each other and willing to put in the work and have the patience required for a believable relationship and HEA. David Piper was perfect here. The longing, the uncertainty, the heat and the love were all there in his spot on, nuanced performance.
