Summary
From best-selling author comes this unique straightforward writing style in "interview" format that frequently anticipates a question from the listener and "answers". A pause-resisting story of a remarkable journey of strength, will and faith.
"No book comes closer to exposing the depths of a woman's soul. Forced to deal with extraordinary hardships, death, rejection, abuse, and a struggle to rise above obstacles that would break the spirit of most people." (Susanne L. Lambdin, author of Dead Hears Novel Series)

Intense and engaging stories.
What an amazing woman, and what an amazing story. This audiobook raged and ravaged like a flooding river, carrying away all the built-up debris, and leaving heart-wrenching destruction in its wake.

Nun
Jeannie Sheneman narration was perfect for this wonderful book
Strength, tenacity, determination , survival from adverse conditions.
I really felt as if an interview was taking place. I was at times sad , then amused . At times, this audiobook provoked some very strong, very uncomfortable feelings. Georgianne Landy-Kordis thank you enough for sharing this story with the world.

Wonderful audiobook!
I recommend this audiobook to anyone who has suffered the trials and tribulations of a violent or neglectful childhood and cannot seem to move past it. The strength and character of this woman are a symbol of what we can become regardless of our past.

Not an upbeat book.
It was a book about a life story of upheaval growing up and how it effected her life up till the late 50s. she seemed to drift into repeated abusive relationships similar to her mum. Good narration by Shane man.
