Flying the nest? Here's everything you need to know to spread your wings and make a thriving home for yourself in the world.

Scared of adulting? You’re not alone…and your parents’ generation agrees that you have it hard. The truth is, even people in their 30s and 40s are scared of adulting. That’s why we have a word for it…and the main reason is that it requires skills no one ever teaches you. But daunting as it may seem, being an adult, comes with certain responsibilities. Responsibilities you can fulfill without giving them a second thought…once you know what bases you need to cover.

Whether you’re still at home, you’re away at college, or you’ve just moved into your first house share, there are a few things you’re going to want to know…a few things the education system failed to teach you. Almost 50 percent of young adults in the USA still live with their parents. So how can you avoid it? How can you make sure you cover those gaps in your education?

There’s an easy solution…and it’s just one click away. Adulting 101 – How Not to Move Back Home With Your Parents, will tell you everything you need to know to thrive as an independent adult.

Inside, you’ll discover

  • Essential budgeting information (with how-to guides)
  • From credit cards to personal loans—what you need to know about financing
  • Why retirement is relevant to you now
  • What no one tells you about applying for a job
  • How to ace the work/life balance
  • What you need to know about running a household—whether you’re sharing or going it alone
  • Relationships, from finding "the one"...to booty calls…to messy breakups
  • And much more

interesting listen and educational

Enjoyable audio.
Funny, practical and true.
Real advice for the real world from someone who's been there before you.
Highly recommend to anyone in their 20's (and maybe even in 30's) with a failure to launch.
Super useful tips in the book on a wide variety of topics.
I recommend this audiobook.

Wish I had this in my 20’s!

I love this book. There are so many things I realized I need to be teaching my kids. My parents had the method of “you’ll figure it out” but that was rough. This book is awesome for anyone who had parents like me or even parents with older teens to have a checklist of what to parent to. Highly recommend!

Great advice

What a good job in putting this practical book together. Being in my 20s its always difficult to really figure out on living independently when I’ve never been taught how to, and we expected to figure it out alone. The author really breaks it down in simple easy to follow advice which I will definitely be taking practically on board for many factors in my independent life.
